To support your continued exploration of Self-Awareness, the foundation for change, I have provided a range of Meditation practices below. Each of us are on a journey to explore the gateways that open for us in our quest to experience the ‘space between stimulus and response’. This is where the full and expansive possibility of transformation resides.

Much of our practice centred around Shamatha meditation — also known as calm abiding — a foundational practice in Buddhist traditions such as Theravāda and Tibetan Buddhism. Shamatha is about cultivating a calm, steady, and unified state of mind through techniques like mindfulness of breathing. These practices help quiet mental chatter and develop deep concentration, creating the inner stability needed for insight to arise.

Non-Linear Movement Practice

NON-LINEAR MOVEMENT PRACTICE

I’m excited to include the Non-Linear Movement Practice here for you. I love this practice and highly recommend exploring this in your life. You can do so in such a simple way by playing even just one song a day and letting yourself move as whatever you are feeling - emotionally or physically. Remember, the only rules are to stay close to the floor (on all 4’s, back or knees), to keep your eyes closed and to keep moving. This is such a powerful practice to sensitive to listening to the wisdom of your body. I also find it incredibly helpful for processing big emotions like anger, sadness or grief. And it can be a very supportive practice to help us move through the nervous system.

What you’ll need: Yoga mat or blanket on the floor (just to protect your knees). Ideally headphones or the possibility to play loud music!

Notes on the below: The practice includes a workshop on Boundaries for the first 60 minutes (in case you want a refresher!). Then there is an introduction to the practice. Then there is the practice itself! Minutes as follows:

  • 0-59 minutes - Boundaries Workshop (from an online workshop)

  • 59- 1:06 minutes - Introduction to Non-Linear Movement

  • 1.06 - 1.51 minutes - Non Linear Movement Practice (around 45 minutes long)

‘Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha' is a mantra to Tara, a beloved saviour deity in Buddhism known to liberate souls from suffering. Tara is known to protect from fear, danger, heal illness, and increase longevity and prosperity. On the ultimate level she awakens our wisdom so that we can realise the true nature of reality. It is believed that practice of Tara mantra brings Tara's instant help to overcome all problems and help actualise all our material and heartfelt wishes.

Your Home Altar

CREATING YOUR SACRED SPACE

I recommend that you create your own Sacred Space in your home. This is an example of my altar. Having a space to return to each day can help with that sense of connection and continuity to practice. My Altar brings me such joy each time I hang out with it and I take half of it wherever I go! Notice how I have a photo of Little Soulla on there too! I also keep one by my bed so I can keep connecting into my younger parts with love and care.

Working with Cacao

CACAOITA, LA MEDICINA

Ceremonial Cacao: What It Is & How to Work with It

Ceremonial cacao is pure, whole-bean cacao in its most potent form—minimally processed to preserve its full spectrum of active compounds and spirit. Unlike regular chocolate, which is often diluted and sweetened, ceremonial cacao is rich, bitter, and deeply nourishing. Known for its heart-opening and grounding properties, it carries a gentle, feminine energy that supports emotional clarity, connection, and presence.

Why We Drink It Ceremonially

Cacao has been used for centuries in ritual to open the heart, awaken creativity, and invite deeper connection—to self, to others, and to spirit. Taken with intention, it offers a soft but powerful way to come back to your body and inner truth.

Dosing Guidelines:

  • Daily Use (Gentle Dose): 10–15g — For gentle support, focus, and mood-lifting benefits.

  • Ceremony Dose: 25–30g — For heart-opening, emotional depth, and spiritual connection.

  • Strong Ceremony Dose (Max): 42g — A deep journey dose. Do not exceed this amount. Use with reverence, space, and support.

How to Prepare:

Gently melt your chosen amount with hot (not boiling) water or plant milk. Stir or blend slowly until smooth. You can add cinnamon, cayenne, or a natural sweetener if you like.

Health Contraindications:

Avoid or reduce dosage if pregnant, breastfeeding, on antidepressants (especially SSRIs or MAOIs), or with serious heart conditions. Always consult a healthcare provider if unsure.

How to Work with the Medicine:

Create a sacred space. Set an intention. Sip slowly and with presence. Cacao can support stillness, dance, journaling, meditation, or circle sharing. Stay hydrated and listen to what your body and heart need.

A Gentle Alternative:

If cacao isn’t suitable, rose tea is a beautiful heart-softening plant ally, offering subtle emotional support and connection.
